We have inquired at the New Hobby Lobby store at Alamance crossing and they are unwilling to give BAL members a discount.

Michaels at University Crossing claims that the BAL failed to remoew their discount program and it was changed to 10% off regularly priced items rather than 20% off all items.  Members are advised to still show their BAL card and ask for the discount, and sometimes employees will honor the 20%.

In addition, the Flying Dove Studios, headed by BAL member LouAnne Summers, Is preparing to sell many new and used art essentials including canvases, frames and paint.  They plan to sell these items below Michaels’ prices.  Be sure to check at the Flying Dove before you buy!  They have a place for BAL members to mat and frame your own art work.  You can also display your art for a 25% commission.  Contact them at  336-538-1991.
